Emma Kristin is a young Belgian mezzo-soprano in training, currently pursuing her Bachelor degree in classical performance at Manhattan School of Music, in the opera studio of Mary Dunleavy. In 2023/2024 she has completed the Young Talents Program of the Royal Conservatoire Antwerp and has attended the Sweelinck Academy of Conservatorium Amsterdam.
In 2021 Emma has been chosen as a participant of Anna Maria Chiuri Masterclass. The following two years she has been a member of Antwerp Cathedral Choir.
At the age of 16 Emma Kristin has performed the role of Papagena in Die Zauberflöte produced by TMF and Dutch National Opera & Ballet. She also has performed in Wim Henderickx' contemporary opera The Convert for Opera Ballet Flanders. In 2024 Emma Kristin has won 1st prize at Val Tidone International Music Competition. In 2025 she has performed the role of Meg in Little Women (Adamo), presented by Trentino Music Festival Opera Studio, directed by Robin Blauers and conducted by J. David Jackson .
In the period of 2018-2025 Emma has performed in numerous concerts, films and staged productions in Belgium, Italy, The Netherlands and US, including Opera Ballet Flanders, Baruch Performing Arts Center, Neidorff-Karpati Hall, Kasteel De Merode, Château de Rixensart, DeSingel, Flagey, and Bozar
